Lost Judgment Squirrel Search Guide

Lost Judgment Squirrel Search Guide

In case you had any doubts, location-based collectibles are present in Lost Judgment. This time, they’re presented in the shape of squirrels painted across Ijincho and Kamurocho. Hunting them down is part of the Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun side case, but considering there are 56 of them, it may take a while so you should get started as soon as possible. This guide details every single spot so you can return to the Sega arcade promptly.

How Does Squirrel Search Work in Lost Judgment?

As mentioned, the squirrels can be found scattered around both cities, Ijincho and Kamurocho. You may spot them as you progress through the main story, but you won’t be able to collect them until you get to Chapter 5. There, the Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun side case will become available.

In short, squirrels have different expressions. You will have to mimic each of these expressions by using a specific gadget:

  • Listening with its ear or wearing headphones: Noise Amp
  • Holding a radio or wearing an antenna: Detector
  • Taking a bug for a walk with a leash or holding a bone while moving its tail: Detective Dog
  • Holding a balloon, pointing to a specific direction, flying up or down: Drone

This list serves mostly as reference since we’ve detailed which gadget you need in each entry. In addition, it’s important to know that you always have to examine a squirrel (switching to Observation Mode in first person and aiming at it before pressing the prompt to examine) in order to track it down. As reference, the map icon will turn orange when you do.

For each squirrel you collect you will receive a reward. Lastly, collecting all of them will lead to you completing the Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun and Big Squirrels Don’t Cry side cases, in addition to the Bad Fur Day achievement.
